my favourite little creature ever has to be the japanese Emperor Caterpillar!! would you look at that little guy!!!!!! it gets its name from its bold patterns and chunky appearance, but its mostly known online as the :3 creature. what a stinking cute little guy. i need a marketable plushie NOW. they also grow into the Emperor Moth, which is such a gorgeous moth!! its patterns make it look like it has eyes 0_0 tell me that isnt sick as hell.

dung beetles are little freak stinkers, but i dont think id ever want to say that to their face... do you know that saying "you are what you eat" ? well, theres never been a better example than the dung beetle, because they quite litteraly eat dung; animal poop. my favourite type of dung beetle are the rollers, they roll the poop into a ball and hides it away to either lay eggs in or have as a midnight snack. never tell a dung beetle to eat shit, because while they litteraly do, its also not best picking a fight with one of the strongest animals in the entire world! they can pull 1,141 times its own bodyweight, and according to national geographic "that’s the same as a human dragging six full double-decker busses along a road" !!

when writing this, i asked my friend what his favourite creature was and he made the very good choice of tree frog!! tree frogs are awesome little guys. they make for expert climbers with their sticky toe pads, and also powerful jumpers, covering over 20 times their own body length in a single leap!! i really like how these little fellas look, especially with their big beedy red eyes 0_0

spiny orb weavers have to be the most badass spiders out there. theyre known for their spiky and crab like appearance, but the spikes arent just for show, theyre actually used to ward off predators like birds. i dont have much to say about these guys, i just think they look pretty rad :)
