pretty awesome plants!

picther plants are pretty cool, yet pretty evil little plants! theyre carnivorous plants, meaning they eat things like ants, flies and spiders. they lure their victims in with sweet nectar and bright colors, were the prey will stumble on their slippery rim and fall into the liquid bottom where the insect will drown!! how cruel is that!! such a simple mechanism but it works pretty well to get the nutrients they need. however, theyre not evil to everyone, frogs are one of their best buds! frogs like to hide in pitcher plants and eat any of the approaching bugs. while it may seem bad for the pitcher, it benifits off the frogs poop as free fertilizer. the frog isnt in any danger, as it can easily escape and the liquid and the liquid cant really drown it in the first place. plus frogs getting all sung in a pitcher plant is admittedly very cute :) seriously, search it up!!

while making this i asked a bunch of my friends what their favourite plant is, and one of them was a spider plant!! also known as Chlorophytum comosum but like. spider plant is wayyyyyyyy cooler.its a very popular plant, youve probably seen it around! nice and forgiving to beginners as it is non-toxic and known for its resilliance. it gets its name from its looooooong spider like leaves that dangle from its stems, making it the perfect plant to hang up high in baskets. they really like bright indirect sunlight, and dont require that much maintinance. if your a beginner to taking care of your own plants then the spider plant is a great choice!

lily pads are very kind and nice plants! they are found floating on the surfce of still water like lakes or ponds, anchored to the bottom with their roots, but theyre most known for the floating leaves aka pads on the top! these pads provide a resting place for creatures like frogs, drangonflies and other flying inscets! fishes and other underwater guys like to rest beneath the shade they provide and ducks like to eat water lily seeds. what a nice plant! not asking for much yet giving so much in return! everyone say that you lily pads!! (holding you at gunpoint on this one, you HAVE to say thank you.)

in my opinion, venus fly traps are definitley one of the coolest plants out there. its another carnivorus palnt, widley known for its spiky jaw trap. just like the pitcher, it lures in insects with its bright color and sweet nectar. its covered in tiny little hairs and once theyre triggered by an insect... SNAP!! its fate is sealed within its vicious jaws. how terrifying!! i really really like the look of venus fly traps, no matter how evil they might be. the green and the pink looks SOOO gorgeous together and the jaws are the coolest thing ever. have you seen some venus fly trap based character designs?? coolest shit ever!

forget me not's are like the definition of an oc: gorgeous design (in this case appearance) but with the most TRAGIC backstory youve ever heard. Basically a knight was picking these beutiful blue flowers by a river for his beloved, but his armour was too heavy and he fell into the river! as he drowned, the knight tossed the flower to his love, shouting "forget me not!" ... NOBODY TALK TO MEEE :(( while they get their name from nothing short but unfortunate circumstances, they symbolise love and loyalty, and are indeed very very pretty!
